We have an exciting opportunity! We are looking to employ a trainee to join the People & Culture Department within a dynamic Council.
The primary purpose of this position is to provide administrative support to the People & Culture Team in providing a high-level service to Council employees. Under supervision, the Business Trainee will assist in data entry activities for employee onboarding, training and development, recruitment and assist with payroll processing.
The candidate will have a genuine interest in working in a business/office environment and have a high level of literacy and numeracy skills along with good communication and people skills.
The successful candidate will complete BSB40215 Certificate IV Business during the 12 month period.

Position Hours: Fixed Term (12 months), Full-time, 75 hours per fortnight.
Salary: Schedule A, Salary Point 3.0 $54,329.20 in accordance with Glenorchy City Council’s Enterprise Agreement 2016
