Compliance Officer x2 (Parking and Animal Management)

GCC is looking for two enthusiastic Compliance Officers to support our team. One position includes an exciting opportunity to contribute to Council’s Animal Management operations, by participating on the after hours on-call roster and conducting periodic animal patrolling.About you You will have excellent interpersonal skills, a passion for compliance, and enjoy working outdoors. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who enjoy combining fitness and physical well-being with their work.About the PositionsBoth roles are responsible for ensuring compliance with the State Laws and Council By-laws. A solid understanding of lawful parking practices in Tasmania, including the administration of the Traffic Act 1925, Traffic (Road Rules) Regulations 2019 is essential. You will be responsible for conducting patrols and inspections, delivering excellent customer service, and issuing infringement notices.
