You will manage, promote and enhance the Environment Section to ensure environmental sustainability for both Council and its community in accordance with Council’s strategies, policies, procedures and legislation.The Candidate: The candidate will have proven knowledge and understanding of contemporary approaches in the preparation of park management plans, catchment management plans, environmental strategies and policies. Along with the demonstrated understanding of environmental sustainability/climate change and the application at a local government level.Qualifications: The successful candidate will have completed a relevant tertiary qualification (Bachelor’s degree or higher) and specific and relevant skills and experience in applicable environmental management.Position Number: 100926Position Hours: Full-time, 75 hours per fortnight.
