Glenorchy is Tasmania’s fourth largest city with a population of 46,790. The City lies on the western shore of the Derwent River, next to the City of Hobart. We are looking for a suitably qualified Finance Officer to join the Finance Department within a dynamic Council, which will allow you to capitalise on your existing skillset. You will have a focus on customer service and interaction, with the objective to gain agreement with payment arrangements.
The candidate will have proven experience with debt recovery administration and have highly developed customer service skills with the ability to deal with difficult conversations.
The successful candidate will have completed a Certificate IV in Business or equivalent experience in a relevant field.

Position Hours: Full-time, 75 hours per fortnight. Part-time hours may be considered.
Salary: Schedule A, Salary Point 6 $58,385.70 to $64,394.72 in accordance with Glenorchy City Council’s Enterprise Agreement 2016
