We want to hear from you!Glenorchy City Council is seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Jobs Hub Coordinator to lead the delivery of our Jobs Hub – a dynamic employment and training support service helping local residents connect with job opportunities, skill-building programs, and wraparound support.About the RoleAs the Jobs Hub Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for:Coordinating the day-to-day operations of the Jobs HubEngaging with jobseekers, training providers, local employers, and community servicesSupporting jobseekers with career coaching, resume advice, job applications, and training referralsPromoting the Jobs Hub across the community and building strong local partnershipsOrganising outreach activities, events, workshops, and job exposCollecting data, reporting outcomes, and identifying opportunities for service improvementThis is a hands-on role where your ability to build trust, foster collaboration, and drive positive employment outcomes will make a real difference in the lives of others.About YouYou are an empathetic and driven individual who thrives in a people-focused environment. Glenorchy City Council is seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Jobs Hub Coordinator to lead the delivery of our Jobs Hub – a dynamic employment and training support service helping local residents connect with job opportunities, skill-building programs, and wraparound support.

About the Role

As the Jobs Hub Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Coordinating the day-to-day operations of the Jobs Hub
  • Engaging with jobseekers, training providers, local employers, and community services
  • Supporting jobseekers with career coaching, resume advice, job applications, and training referrals
  • Promoting the Jobs Hub across the community and building strong local partnerships
  • Organising outreach activities, events, workshops, and job expos
  • Collecting data, reporting outcomes, and identifying opportunities for service improvement

This is a hands-on role where your ability to build trust, foster collaboration, and drive positive employment outcomes will make a real difference in the lives of others.

About You

You are an empathetic and driven individual who thrives in a people-focused environment. You will bring:

  • Experience in employment services, community development, career counselling, or a related field

  • Confidence using digital platforms
