  • Deliver fuel to offsite machinery and maintain clean, safe work areas
  • Create and update work orders and service records
  • Commission new fleet, plant, and equipment for service and decommission old assets for disposal
  • Conduct familiarisation sessions for staff on fleet and equipment
  • Supervise team members and contractors on site, providing mentoring and support
  • Collaborate with Council staff to share knowledge and foster a cooperative work environment
  • Ensure all tasks comply with Council procedures, WHS policies, and strategic goals

    About you:

    You’ll bring:

    • Minimum 3 years post-trade experience in a mechanical role with proven hands-on expertise
    • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
    • Strong understanding of Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) practices, including Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) and Safe Operating Procedures (SOPs)

      Essential:

      • Mechanical trade qualification
      • Class C car license
      • White Card
      • Class LF forklift licence

      Desirable:

      • Class MR Medium Rigid truck license
