We are seeking an experienced and reliable Multi-Skilled Plant Operator to join our team and contribute to the delivery of Council’s Capital Works Program. This role involves operating heavy plant and equipment while undertaking hands-on construction and maintenance work on municipal roads, drainage systems, and civil infrastructure.
About the role:
As a Multi-Skilled Plant Operator, you will play a key role in the construction and maintenance of roads, drainage, and civil infrastructure. This hands-on position involves operating heavy plant and equipment, performing earthworks, concreting, and pipe laying, while also undertaking general labouring duties.
You will be responsible for maintaining plant and equipment, completing work documentation, and conducting inspections and risk assessments to ensure high-quality outcomes. The role also requires implementing traffic management and adhering to workplace health and safety standards at all times.
Working as part of a team, you will interpret plans, accurately record project data, and communicate effectively with colleagues and the public to support the successful delivery of civil works projects.
