Senior Planning Officer

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Planning Officer to join our dynamic statutory planning team. The ideal candidate will carry out high-quality and timely land use planning tasks within Council’s Planning Section. As the successful applicant, you’ll be part of a motivated team of professionals and work on a wide range of interesting and at times complex planning applicationsIn this role, you’ll have the opportunity to lead and assess a mix of private, community, and public sector projects, using your planning expertise, report writing skills, and strong communication and negotiation abilities.Glenorchy City Council is committed to attracting top talent to serve our community and supports diversity, individual needs, and flexible working arrangements.
