We are looking for a suitably qualified Coordinator City Strategy & Economic Development to join the team. You will be responsible for coordinating the development, review and implementation of Council’s corporate planning functions and reporting. In addition, the role coordinates Council’s economic development functions through facilitating a pathway for business investment and innovation into the City. The successful applicant will have:The ability to implement economic development plans and initiatives, including working effectively with business, government, and commercial interestsProject management skills including, proven ability in time management, networking and communication, planning, problem solving and creative thinking and negotiationDemonstrated ability to manage corporate strategic planning issuesExcellent customer service and communication skillsQualifications required: Tertiary qualification in a field relevant to corporate strategic planning and economic development or demonstrated experience in a similar role.Position Hours: Full-Time, 75 hours fortnight.
