We are looking for a suitably qualified Development Compliance Officer to join the Planning Services team. You will be responsible for monitoring, investigating and enforcing non-compliance with the Tasmanian Planning Scheme – Glenorchy and the Land Use Planning and Approvals Act 1993. The Candidate:The candidate will have experience in conducting regulatory investigations, a commitment to quality customer service and be able to work independently as well as as part of a team. Candidates will need to be highly organised, with an attention to detail and demonstrate strong negotiation and dispute resolution skills. Qualifications: Whilst not essential, the ideal candidate will have:Certificate IV in Government InvestigationsExperience in a regulatory role and/or experience conducting or responding to investigations in a complex regulatory environmentWhite cardPosition Hours: Full-Time, 75 hours fortnight.
