You will be responsible for assisting with the provision of engineering advice, design, approval and inspection services to further the sustainable development of the City.The Candidate: The candidate will need to have relevant experience in local government operations including an understanding and knowledge of relevant engineering codes and standards and road and hydraulic construction practices. You will be committed to quality customer service and able to effectively solve problems and provide workable solutions.Qualifications: The successful candidate will have completed a Diploma, Advanced or Associate Diploma of Civil Engineering or relevant discipline, plus a minimum 2-3 years’ experience in design and/or construction experience in road and hydraulics assets.Position Number: 100078Position Hours: Full-time, 75 hours per fortnight.
